Rune Søchting (1974)

Rune Søchting lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. Since 2000 he has been working with electronic music, music composition and sound installations. He has made music and sound design for a number of videos, dance-performances and performance-acts. In 2005 he released his debut CD 'abstrakt' on the label Kontur. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 he received a working grant from the Danish Art Council. He is a member of the Danish Composers Society. He is coordinator for the Nordic Sound Art MA study program.
