Bruno Mantovani (1974)

Bruno Mantovani was born in 1974. In 1996 he was enrolled in the Paris Conservatory where he graduated in analysis, aesthetics, orchestration and composition. Here he completed his training with while at the same time studying musicology at the University of Rouen, as well as taking in a composition course at Royaumont Abbey in 1995 and a computer music course at Ircam. In 1997 he was awarded several grants and composition scholarships. In 1999 he was in residence at the Artists' House at the Herrenhaus Edenkoben at the invitation of Peter Eötvös, then in 2001 at the Octobre en Normandie festival, followed several festivals in Europe. Today, he works with the most prestigious musicians as Emanuel? Pahud, Peter Eötvös, M. Schreier, J. Nott, TM+ et Ensemble Inter-Contemporain. Mantovani had the place of honour at the Festival Musica 2006 at Strasbourg with the world premieres of his works, Cantate n°1, Quelques effervescences and the opera L'Autre côté.
