Jakob Weigand Goetz (1972) 

Jakob Weigand Goetz lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has composed music since before the breaking of his voice. These years he seeks a homogenous expression, rich on texture, density and timbre. In 2005 he released his debut CD "opus1" on the label Kontur. The last four years he has received a working grant from the Danish Art Council. He is a member of the Danish Composers Society. Besides composing, he is working on a new central web site for Danish contemporary music and teaching at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus.
